Abstract:

In this seminar, I will introduce some basic theory and practice for doing regression and correlation analysis. Topics include the use of dummy variables, interactions, significance testing, assessment of model fit, logistic regression, and generalized linear models. The application of regression analysis in Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) will also be discussed.
