Beginner's Guide to R

Ms Yiming Li

15 Mar 2017 (Wed) 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Seminar Room 2, G/F
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Building for Interdisciplinary Research
5 Sassoon Road, Pokfulam, Hong Kong

Abstract:

R is one of the most popular programming languages for data analysis and visualisation. This workshop serves as an easy introduction to R for people who are interested but with completely no prior experience in it. In this workshop, we would cover R data types, operators, basic data management and simple plots in R. Bringing your own laptop with R pre-installed (https://cloud.r-project.org/) and smart device(s) is strongly recommended.
