Abstract:

Python is powerful and clear programing language, which is supported by a variety of libraries for general programming as well bioinformatic data processing. It is especially easy to learn compared to other languages but can also handle more complex applications. In addition, Python can be easily extended by adding new modules compiled in C++ or other languages. Python is open source and can be used without any cost, freely modified and re-distributed.
