Abstract:

1. Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)
Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is a powerful tool for identifying proteins, including histone proteins and non-histone proteins, associated with specific regions of the genome by using specific antibodies that recognize a specific protein or a specific modification of a protein. Abcam is the pioneer on resesrch of CHIP related products and technical method. They have great experience on this area. This seminar will cover the basics, application techniques, as well as optimization tips for ChIP and western blot applications.

2. Optimization Techniques for Werstern Blots
Western blot is a powerful technique in that; it leads to simultaneously detection of a specific protein by means of its antigenicity and its molecular mass. Abcam has lots of antibodies that suitable for WB and they have their own experience and suggestions to optimize the detection. It could give the researchers lots of help on the research.
