Technology Seminar

Advancing Cancer Research by Leveraging Molecular & Cellular Pathway Analysis

By

Dr. Brian McNally

Global Product Manager

17 July 2012 (Tuesday)

4:00 – 5:00pm

Room 7-03, 7/F,

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Building for Interdisciplinary Research

5 Sassoon Road, Pokfulam, Hong Kong

Abstract:

Understanding the mechanisms driving cancer processes requires a systematic survey of gene, protein, and pathway activities and how these components interact with one another. In this seminar, application examples will be presented highlighting various new pathway focused technologies.

The presented studies will focus on genetic and expression profiling, as well as the downstream repercussions on gene expression, pathway activity and cancer phenotypes. These application studies will serve as model experiments to demonstrate how researchers easily integrated these pathway-focused experiments into their current research to further define the molecular mechanisms that govern cancer.

Come and learn how you can accelerate your research.

ALL ARE WELCOME

Kind Reminder: Please take off your lab coat before coming to the seminar.
