4th NGS Sharing Session

A Success Story in Splicing Analysis

Time flies and another 6 months have passed. Have you wondered what we are up to in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)?

In this sharing session, Dr Raven Kok, who has recently worked with our Centre in generating NGS data, will share with you his exciting new findings!

"Previous genome-wide analysis on alternative splicing events in human is not feasible because of the technique limitation. Until now, we successfully apply two latest technologies to accurately assess genome-wide alternative splicing events in human. Known and novel splicing events discovered in human transcriptomes will reveal new insights into splice modulating therapies for human disease.?" (Dr Raven Kok)

Our bioinformatics and NGS lab teams will also briefly summarize their latest experience. We wish to keep you informed on how we may assist your NGS research. Please come join us again!

Date: 12-Apr-2013 (Friday)
Time: 4 – 5 pm
Venue: CGS Seminar Room
